This charming place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, a lovely lounge area, and convenient luggage storage. Staff even provided bug spray during my first stay. I highly recommend it, and I'm excited to return for Christmas.

The service is excellent, includes ample parking. The hotel offers excellent coffee and fruit for breakfast. The location of the property is fantastic, short walk to the restaurants on the esplanade, Strahan and Tasmania, and amazing gardens...

The location is wonderful, a short walk to the restaurants and the beach and the house overlooks McQuarie Harbour. The room we satyed in was exquisite; wonderfully appointed and very elegant.
The breakfast was quite basic considering the price.

The antique furniture in the Amelia room added a beautiful vintage charm that greatly enhanced our stay.
We experienced issues with the breakfast service, as some items we ordered were not provided, disappointing.

satisfactory stay but room for improvement
The garden view was a lovely sight each morning. The antique furniture added a touch of charm that felt inviting and warm. The staff member was polite and tried to help despite the owner's discourteous demeanor.

From the moment we were greeted at the door by our host we felt welcomed. The property has alot of cool history and our host was fantastic. We would visit again.
If I had to say something negative it would be that the pillows were to soft and thin.

Both lovable and frustrating
Rose and Terry provided a warm welcome and shared captivating stories which set a lovely tone for our stay. The Amelia Room featured a clawfoot bath overlooking the gardens.
Breakfast timing was rigid with limited options, and room cleanliness was a concern, with stained carpet and linen. The historic charm felt overshadowed by upkeep issues, compromising overall experience.

We loved staying in an authentic Victorian house with so much atmosphere. The owner, Carol, was extremely helpful and went out of her way to inform us about sightseeing on our way to Strahan from Launceston, as well as what to see in Strahan and onward to Hobart. Carol was such a warm, welcoming host that we look forward to a return stay.
